Artist in the Classroom

Bring a professional artist to your school for a hands-on, highly interactive learning lesson in line with Indiana Academic Standards! Available both before and after your visit to IRT, these sessions encourage critical perception and analysis of the production and may include script analysis, examination of themes, theatre etiquette, and historical background on the play.

GENERAL INFORMATION ABOUT AIC SESSIONS

There is a maximum of 30 students per session. Teachers are encouraged to remain in the classroom and participate in the activities alongside students. Schools more than 50 miles from IRT will incur an incremental mileage fee. Financial assistance is available for all AIC programming thanks to The Alan and Linda Cohen Education Fund.
