Write Now

Write Now is a national effort to advocate for playwrights and promote the development of new work for young audiences by:

• supporting the work of emerging and established playwrights through a biennial national competition and process-focused workshop 
• engaging a broad representation of the TYA field in an ongoing conversation about new play development 
• creating a stronger environment for new work by fostering connections and collaborations
• cultivating a common language of shared values about new work from the perspectives of playwrights, producers, community stakeholders, and academia
