Reviews
My friends and I loved this adaptation. The voices of the cast blended beautifully. The setting with snow and a versatile frame was genius. It was a great way to start the holidays.
My family and I loved the production and thought it was very well done. We will attending next year after how much we enjoyed the show. Good job to all It was very well done.
We had a great time! It was our fourth year attending the Christmas Carol to kick off the holidays - there were 10 of us. I love that my kids can now recite the opening lines of this classic story.Looking forward to next year!
Such an awesome rendition of #AChristmasCarol by #IRTlive.

Another amazing experience at @irtlive watching the Christmas Carol. #bahhumbug #irtlive #IRT #indy
I'm officially in the Christmas spirit after seeing A Christmas Carol @IRTlive #irtlive #Christmas #ChristmasCountdown
Our family including our daughter,son-in-law, 11,9, and 6 year old grandchildren and my husband and I attended the matinee on Saturday, 12/5/15. I was amazed and impressed by the quality of the performance. Using a relatively simple set with minimal changes, you were able to inspire us with the beauty of Dickens’ words. Our grandchildren were engaged all the way to the end culminating with uproarious laughter mimicking Scrooge’s delight. We had attempted to attend a holiday performance in Chicago but the timing and cost in comparison to what we found at the IRT made it a simple choice to enjoy “A Christmas Carol” here.
About the Play
A favorite holiday tradition. Indy’s favorite holiday tradition returns for its 25th year at the IRT. Scrooge’s visits to the past, the present and the future bring us hope in the dark of winter, when we need it most. Charles Dickens’ A Christmas Carol celebrates the power of kindness, family and love in this beloved tale filled with laughter, tears and redemption.
