We very much enjoyed the production this afternoon - as we always do. We have one play to suggest for the future.  I mentioned once to Janet in the lobby.  The play is "Another Time."  We saw it a  number of years ago in London, and again at Steppenwolf in Chicago - both times with Albert Finney.  We think it would work well on your stage and would like to see it again. Thanks for years of theatre enjoyment.

I saw The Great Gatsby yesterday. I was sure I was going to enjoy it (I've never seen a bad production yet). I was most curious how the hit and run scene would be accomplished on stage. It was unbelievable-I say this because people around me had the same response-we jumped in our seats...we let out a gasp of shock, a young girl in front of me covered her eyes. I hate to say-since it portrayed someone being killed-but it was fantastic! The costumes made me envious for the glamorous ease. And as always the set/lighting and use of projection were incredible. So the short of this very long thought - Bravo and Congratulations on a fantastic production. Looking forward to To Kill A Mockingbird!

I loved it! The actor for Gatsby was amazing and so was the actor for Nick! Right before the intermission a shirt had been thrown off the stage and I threw it back on. It was so amazing and I loved being right in the front to see everything so clearly and ugh! I can't stop saying how much I loved it! It was my first play ever and out of any to be at I'm very pleased to have The Great Gatsby be the first live play I've seen.

We've  been season ticket holders for many, many years.  This ranks as one of the finest productions we've seen.  Great season opener - congrats!

About the Play

Money, class, romance and corruption collide as the Great American Novel comes to life on stage. Opulent parties, passionate affairs, jealousy and murder are tangled together in this powerful and vivid tale of American bravado, lost love and post-war recovery in the Roaring Twenties. The Great Gatsby is an eloquent evocation of a bygone era that deeply resonates with our world today.
